Making calls

This is the heart of ColdDialr. Here’s the whole flow, start to finish.

  1. Click Dialer in the menu. You’ll see cards for each of your call lists.

  2. Each card shows how many people are ready to call right now. Pick the list you want to work.

  3. Choose how you’d like to dial (if the card offers a choice). Direct Dial is the simplest — it calls one person at a time and connects you straight through. See Dial modes for what AMD and Parallel do differently.

  4. Optional — pick a timezone. If a list has people in more than one time zone, you’ll see a dropdown next to the dial option (for example Eastern (24)). Choose one to dial only that zone — handy when just part of the country is in calling hours. Leave it on All timezones to work the whole list.

  5. Optional — call by grade. Next to that is a grade dropdown: All grades, A only, A + B, A + B + C. Leads are graded A to D on how good a fit they look. Picking A only dials just the best ones — useful for a short session, or a first pass at a big new list.

  6. Click Start. ColdDialr places the first call and brings up that person’s info.

  7. When the call ends, you’ll tell ColdDialr how it went (see Ending each call), and it moves you to the next person automatically.
